Teeth whitening is something I’ve always wanted to try, but wasn’t really sure if it worked or not. When I had the opportunity to partner with Smile Brilliant, I decided to try it out and see what all the hype was about. I was familiar with teeth whitening products sold in drug stores, however after coming across before and after pictures of results on social media of this at home teeth whitening kit, I just knew I had to try it for myself.

How Does It Work?
The process is pretty simple, as long as you follow the directions carefully. Smile Brilliant will mail you a dental impression kit, which contains 3 catalyst pastes, 3 base pastes, 2 impression trays, 3 syringes of whitening gels, 3 syringes of desensitizing gel, instruction guide, and a return envelope. The catalyst and base pastes are used to create the molds for your teeth. You simply put the paste in the impression trays provided and bite down to create your impressions. After your impressions are made, you will then mail them off the return envelope provided. It will be sent off to a “special lab” to create trays specifically for your teeth. The Custom-fitted trays will then be mailed back out to you within 2 weeks.

The Arrival!
I was super excited when my trays finally arrived. Although I was skeptical, I was finally ready to try something new. I’m a coffee drinker, so to guarantee the best results I stopped drinking coffee (haven’t went back either). Before starting the process, you want to make sure you brush your teeth and floss. Take a few minutes to read the enclosed instructions for both desensitizing and whitening. Once you have read the instructions thoroughly, you are now ready for the whitening process.

The Process!
Once you have all your materials in front of you, apply the teeth whitening gel to your tray and place them in your mouth. A little goes a long way, so be sure to squeeze the syringe slowly. Don’t make the mistake I made by putting too much gel in the whitening trays. It will only cause the gel to overflow from the tray once inserted in your mouth. You can leave the whitening gel on anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour; depending on sensitivity. After whitening, I rinsed my trays out with cold water and applied the desensitizing gel. That process last about 30 minutes. Repeat steps daily!

Do It Really Work?
So, the answer that everyone has been waiting for, YES! I did see a big difference in my teeth after using Smile Brilliant. The process was fairly simple, just time consuming. I did have to stop using the product for about two weeks, due to sensitivity to my teeth. When I started using it initially, I did apply to much whitening to my tray which could have played a huge factor in that. What I loved most about the product is the customer service. Smile Brilliant support team is always there to answer any questions you may have and will guide you through any situation that may arise. Just be sure to read instructions carefully and you will be fine. Overall, I would definitely use this product again and was very happy with results.
